Why do we believe what we do? The five solas of the Reformation are theological moorings: They are five anchors that are rooted in history, established by scripture, and easily articulated in our church context. These theological constructs are more than simple talking points: they are rally points. In a time where theological literacy is low, these convictions are “the irreducible core” for evangelicals seeking a thoughtful, rooted, and applicable starting point for understanding and articulating their belief.
