Disciple: Follow Me

February 7, 2016 Speaker: Ryan Johnston Series: Disciple: The Gospel of Mark

Topic: Discipleship Passage: Mark 3:7–3:19

This week we return to the Gospel of Mark series, learning from Mark Chapter 3. The book of Mark is written to the early church and is pointedly teaching that Jesus came for all people - Jew or Gentile - and that Jesus very intentionally appointed twelve followers to be apostles who would learn from him and later be sent out to preach with great authority. In today's message Ryan Johnston teaches that to be a disciple we must marry what we say about Jesus with what we do with our life. Does it reflect the truth of Christ? Do we "invest and invite?" In other words, do we invest our lives in Christ and invite others to do so as well?
