“I am in a family that loves me deeply and values others passionately”
Topic: Community Passage: 1 Corinthians 12:12–12:26
This morning Brannon Marshall continues in our Pathway series from I Corinthians 12:12-26. In this text the church at Corinth had utterly veered off the path that been established by the Apostle Paul since its foundation. Paul sets out to realign them to see that they have lost sight of who they are, because they have lost sight of who they love. The church of Corinth had become a church that lost sight of Jesus! Paul’s analogy to the church of Corinth of a “body with many members” and different functions applies to us even today. As a community of believers we are called to be unified, diverse, and supportive and to function as a familial cooperation, where anyone who claims Christ has a place. How are we positioning ourselves to maximize generational impact as the body of Christ?
