Rev. Dr. Micah Hasty is a local church pastor at North Canton Chapel with a deep passion for equipping others to see Jesus rightly and respond to Him accordingly. He believes that true spiritual growth begins in the home, flourishes within the local church, and extends on mission into the world.
In his pastoral counseling, Pastor Micah guides individuals and couples through the transformative process of spiritual formation. He walks alongside those seeking healing, direction, or growth, helping them experience God's ongoing grace as the Holy Spirit forms them into the image of Christ. His counseling approach is grounded in the Scriptures and shaped by intentional spiritual disciplines.
He holds a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and a Master of Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, alongside an M.Div. and M.A.R. from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. His dedication to family discipleship is central to his ministry, reflected in his 2023 published dissertation, which focuses on equipping households to implement daily rhythms of worship.
He and his wife have been married for 19 years, and together they have the joy of raising three daughters.
