Birth thru 5th Grade

Giving kids a space to experience the love of Jesus and learn foundational scriptural truths.

Safety / Check-In

As a parent, you can rest assured your child is in the safest of environments. Feel free to review our safety guidelines below. Register online with KidCheck and have your information ready when you walk in, or sign up in person at the Kids check-in desk!

Infants are engaged with songs that include biblical truths about God’s love while playing with related toys. Toddlers are introduced to Bible Stories in an age appropriate lesson that includes songs, short picture stories, crafts and engaging activities.

Our Preschool and Kindergarten classes learn about God and how much Jesus loves them. Through a variety of large and small groups, children are engaged in the Word of God through games, crafts, worship and stories.

Children learn about the Bible in a way that connects every story to God’s plan for redemption. Through personal growth and understanding, children can open their hearts to God, learn to discern His voice and grow in a desire to serve Him.

We desire to provide preteens opportunities to own their faith by demonstrating practical ways to make much of Jesus while building on foundational Scriptural truths.

Every Remind 101 will be how you will receive important reminders. You can sign up to receive notifications from Remind 101 for everything happening in our Preteen Ministry (4th & 5th Grade).

Safety Guidelines

Valuing you and your children’s safety is a priority to us here at NCC. We have several policies and procedures in place to help ensure that your child has a safe and healthy experience while they are with us.

All family ministry volunteers are screened and receive a background check prior to any unsupervised one on one interaction with the children.

No one under the age of 18 is allowed to carry infants or children.

Men and unscreened parent helpers are not permitted to change diapers or accompany children to the restroom.

No sick children are allowed in the nursery or classroom. If your child has had any of the following symptoms in the 24 hours preceding any family ministry program please refrain from placing them in our care:

  • Fever greater than 100 degrees
  • Questionable rashes
  • Coughing
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Sore throat
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Runny nose (green or yellow discharge)

All children 5th grade and younger are to be checked in and out by their parent or guardian at the Children’s Welcome Center. All children must have an ID badge on to be admitted to a Sunday morning program. Parents, guardians, or older siblings may pick up a child on a Sunday morning only by presenting the proper security tag for their child.

If a child’s behavior is disruptive or dangerous to other children and or teachers, the child will be removed from class and the parent will be contacted.

Parents must not leave the church grounds while their children are attending Sunday services.
