2026 Easter Mission Offering

The North Canton Chapel is dedicated not only to serving and caring for our local and global partners, but also to coming alongside the global church during intense crises around the world. Though there are many crises in the world at this time, our trusted partners from ABWE are on the ground in Ukraine and surrounding areas, making a difference for those who are in dire physical and spiritual need. We, as a church, are committed to using our God-given resources to push back darkness wherever God is leading us.

NCC will be giving away half of our Easter offering to the Ukraine Crisis Fund to help meet these significant physical and spiritual needs. 100% of these gifts and offerings will be given to those in Ukraine who desperately need shelter, food, transportation, Bibles, and other spiritual needs. Be a part of this incredible opportunity by giving during our Easter offering!

The war in Ukraine has taken homes, livelihoods, and peace from millions of people, yet in the midst of the devastation, the church has stepped forward to serve with compassion and share the hope of the gospel. From the beginning of the invasion, ABWE missionaries partnered with national churches—particularly in Moldova, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland—to help transport, shelter, feed, and care for the spiritual needs of those fleeing the country. Together, they have provided more than 60,000 meals and other forms of aid, assisted over 25,000 refugees, shared the gospel with thousands, and distributed more than 3,500 Bibles and tracts. Even as Ukraine continues to face air attacks and power outages, ABWE missionaries remain faithfully serving alongside local believers, bringing practical help and gospel hope to communities across the country, including towns near the front lines in the east and south.

Over 14,000 Ukrainian civilians have been killed and over 38,000 have been injured.

Over 50% of the power grid in Ukraine is down and many have no access to proper heating.

3.7 million Ukrainians have been internally displaced from their homes and about 5.9 million are refugees in other countries.

Over 10.8 million Ukrainians have required humanitarian aid.
